About Tarheel Media

We are a brand of MLW & Associates, LLC. MLW & Associates is a Limited Liability Company of North Carolina. We have over 20 years experience in Web Development, Web Design, Digital Marketing, and Website & Server Hosting. Through many trials and tests, we have always come out stronger and more reselient thanks to our loyal customers.

OUR HISTORY

Tarheel Media started as Goldsboro Web Development, a DBA of Michael Wells. After about a year of word of mouth, Michael created a LLC, MLW & Associates to take ownership of the new brand.

After many trials, Michael and other managers of MLW & Associates, LLC decided to change the name of Goldsboro Web Development to something more memorable and easier to type, Tarheel Media. Tarheel Media is now a registered DBA in Wayne County, North Carolina.

We currently serve customers from the EU, to Canada, to right here at home in the United States and the vast majority of those customers are what drives us and our creativity. We wouldn’t be here today without them or Our Lord.

Michael and his wife are the majority owners of MLW & Associates, LLC and both are Veteran of the United States Army and served in the Signal Corps. While Michael specialized in network operations and deployment, Kimberly specialized in computer maintenance and since has taken up accounting and runs the financial side of the company.

OUR ETHICS

Our ethics are based in the Holy Bible. For years Colossians 3:23 has been sitting in the footer of Goldsboro Web Development. From the Holy Bible it says,

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

We live by this and believe that it is a mandate to every Christian running or working in a company for other people. We are to treat the work as if God, Himself asked us to do it.

MLW & Associates Formed

January 10, 2012

MLW & Associates, LLC is formed under North Carolina and Michael and Kimberly are made managers of the LLC.

Tarheel Media Launched

MLW & Associates, LLC launches the Brand Tarheel Media to unify the services of Goldsboro Web Development and Goldsboro Networks.

Tarheel Cloud Launched

Tarheel Media launches it’s first flagship service, Tarheel Media based on the open-source project, NextCloud.
